On the drive to New York, we stopped at Yale University where we did lots of things.

First of all, we went to the library which was really large. Thankfully, we didn’t need to have a Yale ID to enter.

In the library, I first went into this room and I wrote down a short letter to a future visitor and put it in this miniature mailbox. Here’s the picture of which mailbox I put it in so if y’all are going you can see.

It’s supposed to be number 7118, but someone ripped the number paper out. I think it’s a cool thing to let visitors do this, especially children that have the potential.

After that we went further into the library/museum, but I didn’t take photos because it was allowed. The hall looked pretty though.

Then we went to the Schwarzman Center and we saw the door to the president’s room.

We also saw the student dining hall that is usually used for large events.

The center wasn’t as interesting as the library.

So, we continued our drive to New York and arrived after around two hours. When we arrived we went to MSG(Madison Square Garden). It was really loud because there was a Joe Hisaishi concert. We wanted to go but unfortunately we didn’t get tickets ahead of time. We took some pictures outside when leaving though. So, we continued our drive to New York and arrived after around two hours. Overall, today we didn’t do a lot of things but they were pretty fun. Continue reading tomorrow for day 2 here at NYC!
